ZACHARY QUINTO
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Zachary Quinto is an American actor and film producer. he is known for his roles as Sylar on the science fiction drama series HEROES, Spock in the reboot STAR TREK and its sequels STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS (2013) and STAR TREK BEYOND, as well as his Emmy-nominated performance in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM. His other film roles include MARGIN CALL, WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER?, HITMAN: AGENT 47, SNOWDEN, and HOTEL ARTEMIS. He also appeared in smaller roles on television series such as NOS4A2, THE SLAP, and 24, and on stage in ANGELS IN AMERICA as well as the Tony Award-winning revival of BOYS IN THE BAND, which is currently being filmed for NETFLIX. Zachary has produced ALL IS LOST and MARGIN CALL.

JAMIE MOSS
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Jamie brings a theater background (Circle in the Square) to his work as director of the festival-lauded short film WALK, and to a screenwriting career that spans decades and genres. He has written original screenplays for legendary helmers Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielberg.

His work varies from hardboiled thrillers like STREET KINGS and HUNTER-KILLER, to franchise-building blockbusters such as X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, and GHOST IN THE SHELL.

Emrhys Cooper
WRITER, DIRECTOR, PRODUCER & the role of D’ARCY

A native of Devon, England, Emrhys Cooper is an award-winning director, writer, producer and actor based in Los Angeles. He has enjoyed on-screen success in PERSON OF INTEREST, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, CSI: NY and the film MAMMA MIA! He soon ventured into the world of production, which included such accomplishments as the romantic comedy WALK A MILE IN MY PRADAS (Amazon Prime Video) and the dramedy TIL WE MEET AGAIN (Netflix/Amazon Prime Video). In 2017, Cooper starred in and spearheaded the most widely-released Bhutanese film of all time, KUSHUTHARA: PATTERN OF LOVE. Early 2018 marked Cooper’s directorial debut with the critically acclaimed LGBT short film, TROPHY BOY [Cannes Film Festival Official Selection 2018], which is currently in development as a television series. Cooper now serves as a writer, producer, director and actor on THE SHUROO PROCESS, executive produced by Zachary Quinto, which is set to hit the 2021 festival circuit. Emrhys is now Principal of his newly founded independent entertainment company, Idyllwild Pictures. Up next, he’ll be seen in Gravitas Ventures’ dark comedy PAINT, as well as Samuel Goldwyn’s recently announced horror thriller, DREAMCATCHER.

Donal Brophy
Writer, Producer & the role of DECLAN COSTIGAN AKA GURU SHUROO

Originally from Ireland, Donal Brophy is a Los Angeles based writer, producer and actor. Upon moving to the states for college, Donal worked extensively in the New York downtown theater and independent cinema scene. He took a detour from performing arts to have a rewarding career in the restaurant world, owning and operating multiple businesses for seven years. He decided to return to acting and writing, and has earned notable credits including BLUE BLOODS on CBS, UNFORGETTABLE on AMC, the Lifetime Original movie SAVAGE REVENGE, and the critically-acclaimed remake of the Francis Ford Coppola classic DEMENTIA 13. Donal has also been in several recent successful stage productions such as THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GREY and THE SEAGULL. Brophy now serves as a writer, producer, and actor on THE SHUROO PROCESS, executive produced by Zachary Quinto, which is set to hit the 2021 festival circuit.

 
 
 

SHARON LIEBLEIN, CASTING DIRECTOR

Sharon Lieblein, CSA Partner with Fern Champion at Champion/Lieblein Casting, continues to have an illustrious career as a casting director spanning more than two decades. Sharon was instrumental in discovering such talents as Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Lily Collins, Josh Peck, Miranda Cosgrove, and Victoria Justice among others. Sharon most recently served as vice president, casting and talent development, for Cartoon Network Studios. Preceding her stint at The Cartoon Network, Lieblein was on staff for 13 years at Nickelodeon, where she served as vice president of talent and casting. Lieblein has been a working member of the Casting Society of America (CSA) since 1995 and an active Television Academy member since 1999. She is currently casting for the TV series Million Dollar Quartet (CMT), The Greenhouse (Netflix) and Mutt & Stuff (Nickelodeon) in addition to various other features, TV movies and TV pilots.

GARRY M.B. SMITH,
EDITOR

Garry M.B. Smith is an internationally acclaimed film editor who has worked on a diverse range of projects, his most recent being the motion picture BUTTER’S FINAL MEAL starring Mira Sorvino, a popular dark Sci-Fi series SPIDES for NBC/Universal, and the hit comedy series for Netflix, HATERS BACK OFF! with Colleen Balinger. Garry began his film editing career as a first assistant for Universal Studios, Columbia Pictures, and then to MGM, where he made the leap to editor with the Showtime feature THE LIMBIC REGION starring Edward James Elmos. Garry’s editing has won such awards as an NAACP for best TV Movie or Miniseries for the critically-acclaimed SINS OF THE MOTHER, Best Feature Length Editing nominations for TWIST OF FAITH, PAPER MOON AFFAIR and Best Foreign Film at the Los Angeles Film Festival for the artful dark comedy SEVEN STOREYS.

CAMERON NEILSON,
MUSIC SUPERVISOR

Originally from Scotland, Cameron gained his BA HONS Degree from the acclaimed Arts Educational School in London. He serves as Music Supervisor on “The Shuroo Process,” designing engaging music concepts, securing licensing, and also songwriting several records for the movie, bringing his artistry and ideas to amplify the composers and team vision. Most recently, his vocals can be heard on Bob Sinclair’s classic “World Hold On” which he reworked for release in 2020 with Scissors and TallBoy, earning them chart positions globally and radio play on Sirius FM by Pitbull. As a songwriter, he has amassed over 200 million cross platform streams/views for many artists including KPOP super group ITZY and Superjunior, earning him his first Billboard #1 single in 2019.

BETTINA BERGSTRÖM, COMPOSER

Originally from Finland, Bettina is a Los Angeles-based composer and producer whose bold ideas rooted in a Nordic flair and classical training have been brightening up and bringing depth to the LA scene. Her track “Euphoria” can be heard in the movie ANTEBELLUM starring Janelle Monáe, which premiered exclusively on Jimmy Kimmel, and her track “Astral” is featured in the trailer for the film RESISTANCE. She also works directly with Universal Music frequently. Her remix of Maggie Rogers’ “Back in My Body” for Google‘s “Year in Search” was just nominated for the Best Licensed Soundtrack or Arrangement (AICP Award).

JONAS KARLSSON, COMPOSER

Jonas is a Finninsh Award-Winning, Multi-Platinum Selling Producer, Songwriter, Composer, Mixing Engineer and Vocal Producer. He most recently co-wrote and produced the song “U move, I Move” for John Legend, featured on his album “Bigger Love” which is a Grammy nominated album. Additionally he has worked with ZAYN, Blackbear, ALMA, Sofi De La Torre, Kasmir, Anna Abreu, Pernilla, and Redrama. He was a co-producer on Kasmir’s debut album AMK Dropout, which included the platinum selling single “Vadelmavene.” Karlsson is also known from the Finnish band Elokuu. The band’s first single “Soutaa huopaa” was Finland’s most purchased song on iTunes after its release. It was also the most listened song on Spotify for over three weeks in Finland and one of the most-played songs on the radio that year.
